What the reports caught

A real example from an agent's Bot Report: one player scanned a college football board 204 times in 47 minutes. Starting at 5:05 in the morning.

No human checks college football lines 204 times before sunrise. That is a bot polling the board for stale numbers while the agent sleeps.

Another agent's Line Scan Report showed a single account with 19,869 total scans on NFL games. Nearly twenty thousand automated looks at one board, waiting for one slow line.

The two reports

The Bot Report

The Bot Report identifies possible bot activity in your sportsbook. The system runs its detection scan every hour, analyzing refresh patterns across sports categories and flagging players whose behavior looks automated rather than human.

For each flagged player you see:

• The player and their agent
• The sport and market being scanned
• Total line scans in the session
• Scan start and end times

The key signal is repetition. Any player can appear once. A player who shows up in the Bot Report again and again is almost certainly running automated software against your board.

The Line Scan Report

The Line Scan Report shows scanning activity across your entire board, sport by sport and market by market. For each market you see:

• Total Scanned: lifetime scan volume on that market
• Scanned in Last 3 Minutes: who is watching your board right now
• Last Scanned: the most recent timestamp

You can filter by player and sort by recency. The "Last 3 Minutes" column is the one to watch on game days. It tells you which markets are under live surveillance at this moment.

What to do when you catch one

Detection is step one. Here is the playbook once a player keeps appearing:

1. Move them to Square Lines. Scanners hunt stale numbers. A player on your square line profile sees shaded prices that are not worth sniping.
2. Tighten their limits. Lower max wagers on the sports they scan hardest. A bot that finds an edge but can only bet $50 on it is not a problem.
3. Watch their timing. Cross-check their bet history against the scan windows. Bets placed seconds after line moves, in the same markets they scan, confirm what the report is telling you.
4. Let the Auto-Line Balancer contain the damage. While you decide what to do about the player, the balancer is already adjusting your juice when their action stacks one side of a game. Detection tells you who is attacking. The balancer keeps the attack from compounding. Together they protect your margin from both ends.
5. Cut them if it continues. Some players are worth keeping on a tight leash. Some are not. The report gives you the evidence to make that call on facts instead of a bad feeling.

Frequently asked questions

Does the system block bots automatically? No, and that is deliberate. The reports detect and document. You decide what happens next. Some agents keep flagged players at reduced limits because their losing bets are profitable. Blocking automatically would take that choice away from you.

Can a regular player get flagged by mistake? A heavy bettor refreshing before kickoff can appear once. That is why repetition matters. Human refreshing looks bursty and irregular. Bot scanning looks constant and mechanical, at volumes no person produces. Treat a single appearance as a note, and repeated appearances as a pattern.

Do my players know they are being monitored? No. The reports are visible only on the agent side. Players see nothing.

Which sports do bots target most? Wherever lines move fast and attention is thin. Overnight markets, college sports, tennis, international games, and live betting see the heaviest scanning, because that is where stale numbers live longest.
