Player Profile Edit Player's Settings

This document aims to provide step-by-step instructions on managing player profiles, ensuring you can effortlessly update information, adjust credits, and modify statuses with confidence and precision.

Managing Player Profiles

Accessing Player Profiles

  1. To start, navigate to the `Profile` section and select `Player Profiles`.
  2. In the `Player Profiles` section, locate the player you wish to edit by referring to the `PIN` column.

Understanding Columns

  • PIN / Player Name / Player’s Agent Column: This column lets you quickly identify each player by PIN, name, and associated agent.
  • Status / Adjustment / Temp Credit Column: This section lets you view and manage the player’s status, balance adjustments, and temporary credit.

Updating Player Status

Players can hold one of the following statuses:

  • Active: Players can access and use the platform without restrictions.
  • Inactive: Players cannot log in or interact with the system. Inactivity does not affect your active player count.
  • Pending: Players can log in and view options but will count against your active player count once they engage in activity.

To edit a player's status, locate their profile and choose from `"Active," "Inactive," or "Pending"` settings as needed.

Making Balance Adjustments

The Adjustment feature enables precise management of a player's balance, allowing for increases or decreases as necessary.

To adjust:

  1. Select the balance category type (e.g., Sportsbook, Racebook, Casino).
  2. Enter the adjustment date, description, and amount.
  3. Optionally, adjustments can be made to hide them from reports, except for the Total Report.

Example: For a -100 adjustment, the platform reflects the updated balance on the player profiles page.

Adding Temporary Credit

The Temporary Credit tool grants players temporary credit, providing them with a lifeline. Players can specify the amount and lifespan for each credit allocation, which gives them additional flexibility.

Retrieving and Using Confirmation Numbers

Adjustments and actions within the platform have unique confirmation numbers, which are critical for tracking and management purposes.

To locate a confirmation number:

  1. Go to `Reports/Graded Plays`.
  2. Set the `Report Type` to "Adjustments."
  3. Click on `"Show Report"` to find the confirmation number under the "Agent/Confirmation#" column.

Reversing Actions

Mistakes happen, and our platform ensures you can correct them. To reverse the action, use the' Cancel Play` feature within the `Tools` section by entering the play's confirmation number and following the prompts.

Understanding Hidden Adjustments

What Does "Hidden Adjustment" Mean?

When addressing balances, the "hidden adjustment" feature offers significant discretion. It allows adjustments to a player's balance without affecting the Weekly Balance Report or Total Report. This functionality is indispensable for managing a player's loss or win records with nuance and precision.

Imagine a scenario where a player is down by $100. To reset their balance without impacting the recorded weekly loss, a "Hidden Adjustment" of +$100 can be applied. This adjustment does not appear in balance reports, allowing you to handle accounts meticulously while maintaining accurate records.

Tailoring Account Adjustments

Fine-Tuning Weekly Totals Without Reflecting on Balances

For those moments when you wish to debit or credit an account without altering the weekly total balance, utilize the hidden adjustment feature within Player Profiles. This ensures your financial adjustments remain discreet, offering you greater control over account management.

Credit Management Strategies

Optimal Use of Adjustment vs. Temp Credit

When a player depletes their credit mid-week and requires replenishment, opting for Temp Credit is advisable. Unlike Adjustments, which recalibrate the overall balance, Temp Credit explicitly addresses the immediate need for additional credit without altering win/loss records.

Leveraging Login/Password for Enhanced Interface Experience

Legacy vs. Awesome Interface

Our platform offers two distinct interfaces under the Login/Password column—Legacy and Awesome. Each interface caters to different user preferences and requirements, with the Awesome interface boasting modern technologies similar to platforms like Fanduel, including dynamic line updates conducive to the Live Lines application.

You can switch seamlessly between interfaces by utilizing the "player login" for Legacy or "password" for Awesome, tailoring your experience to your current needs.

Late Play Entry Feature

Exclusive Access for Master Roster Agents

Master Roster agents can place bets on events after they occur via the Late Play Entry feature. Accessible through the Legacy interface, this feature enables strategic bet placements on historical events, offering a distinct competitive advantage.

Adding a Custom Play

Objective:

To seamlessly integrate bets from other systems or manually enter wagers into the bookiemarket.com environment, ensuring continuity and comprehensive management of all open bets.

Steps:

  1. Navigating to Player Profiles: You can access the 'Profiles/Player Profiles' section via the Column Login/Password.
  2. Entering a Custom Play: Within a player’s profile, locate the Custom Play option to input the specifics of a wager not automatically listed by our system. This feature ensures a smooth transition when migrating open bets from alternate bookmaking software.
  3. Example: For player David, to add a bet on "Chicago Cubs/Regular Season Wins o89½ (+125)," simply input this detail in the designated area.
  4. Grading the Play: Custom plays will populate the player’s and your Open Play reports. Within the Open Plays section, manually grade these as wins, losses, or no action. The outcomes will automatically update in the Graded Plays and be reflected across relevant reports.

Important Note: Master agents are responsible for grading Custom Plays in the Open Plays section, ensuring precision and accountability in play outcomes.

Managing Column Balance/Casino Balance

Objective:

To offer flexibility in managing account balances, accommodating various operational preferences with running or weekly balance options.

Options:

  1. Running Balance: Updated in real-time, providing up-to-the-minute account status.
  2. Weekly Balance: It resets at the end of the week, and the reset day is configurable in the "Tools" section under "Sports Setting" and "Weekly Balance Ending Day."

Configuration:

Set a player’s balance type to "Running" for continuous balance tracking or "Weekly" for regular resets, accessible via the player’s profile under their PIN.

Setting Risk Limit/Max Win Limit/Default Juice

Objective:

Empower agents with the ability to tailor betting limitations, ensuring responsible gambling practices and customized risk management.

Default Settings:

  • Risk Limit: $150
  • Max Win: $350
  • Default Juice: -110

Customization:

Agents can modify these limits to suit individual player needs or strategies by accessing the player's profile, identifying the PIN/Player Name column, and adjusting the settings as required.

Important Consideration: Should a player attempt to exceed the established Risk Limit, an error message will prompt, maintaining control over wagering activities. Agents wishing to extend the Risk Limit can do so directly in the player's profile settings.

Line Types: Sharp vs. Square

Understanding the distinction between "Sharp Lines" and "Square Lines" is fundamental to catering to the diverse preferences of your clientele.

  • Square Lines offer a consistent -110 line on both sides across all bets. Designed for novice bettors, they provide a straightforward betting experience without much fluctuation, ensuring clarity and simplicity.
  • Sharp Lines, in contrast, are dynamic, adjusting based on market trends and betting behaviors. Favored by professional bettors, these lines offer different juice for each side of a bet, reflecting real-time shifts and providing opportunities for seasoned bettors to capitalize on.

Our system employs Sharp Lines by default to ensure a competitive betting environment. However, switching to Square Lines is flexible, ensuring your platform remains adaptable to all players' preferences.

Sports Settings: Personalization at Its Best

At the core of our platform is the ability to personalize Sports Settings for individual players, ensuring a tailored and controlled betting environment. This feature allows you to set specific restrictions and limits, such as minimum risk limits, directly within a player's profile.

To modify these settings:

  1. Navigate to Player Profiles.
  2. Click on the "Sport" link in the last column corresponding to the player.
  3. Adjust the settings to fit the player's needs, ensuring a customized betting experience.

For instance, the default Circled and Added Game Limits might be set at 550 for all players. Should you wish to adjust this for a particular player, this customization can be seamlessly executed through their unique Sports Settings.

Payout Settings: Enhancing Your Operational Control

Payout Settings are integral to managing your book's financial dynamics. While baseline settings apply to all players, the power to define unique payout configurations for individual players is a testament to our platform's versatility.

To establish unique Payout Settings:

  1. Open the player's profile.
  2. Select the "Payout" link under the Line Type/Unique Sports Settings/Payout Settings column.
  3. Custom-tailor the payout settings, reinforcing your operational flexibility and responsiveness to player preferences.

A bolded "Sport" link under the Line Type/Sports Settings/Payout Settings column visibly denotes players with personalized settings, simplifying management and oversight.

Unique Payouts Setting

At the core of our platform is the ability for agents and bookmakers to fine-tune payout settings for each player under their management. This feature provides unprecedented control over the betting environment and allows for the customization necessary in today’s dynamic market.

Accessing Payout Settings

To modify payout settings for an individual player, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Player Profiles: Your dashboard is designed for intuitive navigation, and you can access the Player Profiles section with just a few clicks.
  2. Select Line Type/Unique Sports/Payout Settings Column: Each player profile has a column dedicated to "Line Type/Unique Sports/Payout Settings".
  3. Choose the ‘Payouts’ Option: You’ll find the "Payouts" option here. Selecting this lets you view and adjust the payout settings specific to that player.

Customizing Payouts

Once you’re in the "Payouts" setting for a chosen player:

  1. Review Default Settings: Familiarize yourself with the default payouts that apply universally across your book. These are found within the "Tools/Sports Settings" section.
  2. Set Unique Payouts: Add the specialized payout rates you've determined for the individual. These settings will override the default payouts for the selected player, ensuring personalized treatment.

Best Practices

While leveraging the unique payouts feature, consider the following to optimize your configurations:

  • Understand Player Preferences: Engage with your players to understand their betting habits and preferences. Tailoring payouts based on this knowledge can enhance player satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor Performance: Review the outcomes of customized payouts regularly. Adjust as necessary to maintain a competitive edge while ensuring profitability.
  • Stay Informed of Market Trends. The sports betting landscape is constantly evolving. Staying abreast of trends allows you to adapt payouts to player behavior and market dynamics shifts.
